Saturday
On Saturday Kristy and I went in to Sacremento because she needed pink hairdye from arden faire mall. Sacremento freeways really are the most confusing road system I have ever seen.

While we're headed down an escalater I notice a guy at the bottem with a hand-held video camera videoing us coming down the escalator. I figure he's videoing the escalator traffic for god knows what reason and act like I don't notice. Then after we've reached the bottem and walked fifty feet, I turn around and see the camera is STILL pointed directly at US. Freakish.

Also I observed once again something I'd already noted on a number of previous occasions; when I had huge muttonchops whenever I met someone else who did we would nod at eachother like "nice muttonchops," but whenever I meet some random guy with a mohawk we are more likely to squint suspiciously at eachother.

Saturday night Kristy and I stopped by the party at the Loyola House, but there were (no longer?) any bands playing, no generally available alcohol, and no bonfire. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it was an awesome party, parties there always are, but Kristy and I only had a 40 of steel between us. I offered it to Kristy which apparently impressed her greatly since she knows what a sacrifice I'd be making, but in the end we opted to roam elsewhere.

Sunday
Sunday was Christie's b-day, so we ate with all her friends at Woodstocks Pizza (where I ate most of a large pizza), and then went back to her place in the colleges (same apartment we always go to in the colleges). After having just one beer (actually some drink the bought en mass from the dollar store!), I began to feel extremely sick.. specifically like I was way way way too full. I think it made the pizza expand or something.

Monday
I try to keep my computer free of computer games out of fear they will steal all my time away. In a moment of weakness I downloaded Civilization III however. It appears to be every bit as excellent as I'd hoped. Now I fear for my life.

Other
It has come to my attention that a number of persons believe in a false method of shaking their fists, one that involved moving the wrist but not the arm. This limp-wristed method is clearly false and to be avoided.

Tomorrow, the 20th of this month, is the one year anniversery of the existence of this livejournal. Specifically tomorrow at 19:28:20.

I'd like to officially inaugerate also the planning of my birthday party 2004, which will be in the general area of May 14th. No plans have been made yet, but need to find a place to have it and bands to play it, so tell your friends.

I would like to say that the limp-wristed fist shaking is not only completely acceptable, but it is also the CORRECT way. I'm sorry to say, but you my friend had been previously misinformed in the proper execution of the shaking of the fist. I am glad that I could inform of the correct way. Wrist only.

civilization III will ruin you! as for myself, however, i've found that due to my fear of wars and anything battle-related in most video games, i tend to quit shortly after i begin. in fact, as persia has just declared war on my measly babylonians (this is my first time playing), i've decided to start a new game where i can enjoy the simple life of founding cities and foraging for food. and of course, as soon as war breaks out, i will likely quit once again.
enjoy though! but realize your grades are all downhill from here...

The camera thing is normal. It's called a following shot. For whatever reason, he decided you and Kristy looked like normal mall shoppers and did a simple, every day pan. It'd be a pretty boring shot if he just stayed on the escalators, wouldn't it?

This is why I get paid more than you :)
