The following is not the Opinion from recent Case # 23. It is, however, a Binding Court Order
Before: Court Members Fricke, Johnson, Konz, Parker, Shahabi, Zheng
COURT ORDER
Whereas in the execution of its duties, the ASUCD Student Court must sometimes have bureaucratic work done;
Whereas the Student Court Members are volunteers and can sometimes not accomplish the tasks necessary without significant hardship,
Whereas the Student Court Members sometimes do not have access to the records and resources necessary to accomplish tasks necessitated in the Judicial Codes;
Whereas the Student Government Administrative Office was created to handle the bureaucratic necessities of ASUCD
Whereas Judicial Code Five, Section 502, paragraph two demands urgent bureaucratic work which the Student Court can not accomplish on its own;
Whereas the Student Government Administrative Office has refused to assist in the above-mentioned as a matter of “policy;”
Wherefore, the Court having taken all of the facts into consideration sua sponte, it is hereby
ORDERED, that the Student Government Administrative Office assist the Student Court in its tasks, specifically matters relating to Judicial Code Five, Section 502, paragraph two, in acquiring the addresses required, making copies, and all other ways necessary to make the task accomplishable; and it is further
ORDERED, that the tasks required by Case # 23 be executed as soon as possible, regardless as to whether a Hearing has or has not occurred for the case.
