   Today was the first day of Spring Quarter up at Davis. Today was the first day of the AMPAC MUN conference down here in LA. Did I go to either? No.
   I had intended to be down here for the MUN conference, but then I learned that our entire delegation had bailed and it was too late to make it up to Davis for classes. I held out until this afternoon plotting ways to get myself to the conference anyway, but alas it all turned out for naught.

   In other news, it rained today. It was awesome.

   Also, after stopping by the financial aid office at Davis repeatedly and asking why they had not disbursed to me as much money as our documents show they should have, I finally got an email today saying they had another remainder check for me (this more than a week after they insisted I'd gotten all the money I was going to get).

   In Civ 3 the Zulus have been annihilated and I'm working on the French now.
