Today I actually spent most of the day in the library. It was crazy.
For dinner I scampered down to Ali Baba's for one of their delicious hamburgers, and then I sat in Cafe Roma across the street to have some coffee because I needed caffiene and one can't drink in the library. And this band was playing ("All the Wrong People" or something?), and they were actually pretty good. I would have bought their $4 CD except that they were still playing / not selling CDs yet by the time I finished my coffee.

Leaving the library around 12:40am, once again the town had that foggie sepiatone look. It was so cool that once I got in my car I decided to just walk around some more.
So of course everything is still and septiatone and completely deserted. Then in the banking district (four banks occupying the two sides of a street) I see two figures just hanging out. I'm like "thats odd." Then I realize it s Alex from downstairs and some girl.

In other news, I 've about $3.77 in the bank right now.
And if anyone is driving down to OC this week I'd be pleased to have a ride...

Applied Jurisprudence
So Olivia is saying something sexual the other day, so I jokingly say "lets call Aaron" (he being her ex). Because of this Olivia subsequently accused me of discussing the "gritty details" of her sex life, and this led to an exciting conversation about livejournal ethics.

192 Hits in One Day - thats what this livejournal got on some random day anyway. I bet if I was crafty I could put a sitemeter in the main "most recent entries page," that would be pretty pleasing to me. Also, Professor Becker talks about crack-whores, I explain the "Chalkboard Effect" & "Floppiness Theory," and miscellenious other crap.

In Other News: Tomorrow (Sunday) at 1pm the Elections Committee hearings before the SJA start in the Mee room, 3rd floor MU.

So last night being halloween, Kristy and I decided to actually venture out, and went to the party at the "pirate house." Armed with a lighter the looks like a small gun, my furry Russian navy hat (ushanka), a fur coat, and my KGB flask, Kritsy was a Russian spy. I put on the marine corps dress uniform that my former roommate Adrian had gotten at a thrift store for $7.
There was an unusual amount of gothic people at the party. I think something attracted all the gothic people from miles around to this particular party. Our friend Alex [livejournal.com profile] fr3ethinker happened to be there as well, and being the gothic boy that he always is, he apparently felt the need to just be "himself" for halloween, something Kristy and I thought was Such Sauce. The party began disbursing around 10pm I think (it being a school night after all), and so we headed home to study because I'm cool like that. We offered Alex a ride but he was busy hanging out with some girl he'd met named Rochelle and opted to stay in central Davis.
Most awesome costume award goes to this guy who was a tetris piece.

This morning while driving to campus, Kristy and I passed a police car with lights on, three wheeled parking enforcement vehicle, an unmarked car, and an unmarked white car with siren-lights on on the inside all pulled over at the side of Russel. I think the unmarked car without lights was getting jumped my all available police units.
Compare this to the similarly inexplicable Davis police activities of about a year ago.
