Catsup vs Mustard, The Epic Struggle
Feb. 24th, 2004 05:00 pm Its election time again here at UCD, and you know what that means: the epic struggle continues between the forces of catsup and the forces of mustard.
On the one side we have the blood-red emblems of a the party named after an toxic metal, and on the other we have team mustard, who can't quite decide on a permanent name, and whose choice in colouring also garners them the name "team macaroni" from time to time.
But to be fair I must mention there are other "independant" alternatives to these two condiments. They may or may not be equally as qualified as the two most well-known hamburger topings, I'll leave that for you to decide.
I just wish there were pickles. Claussen Pickles.

But seriously, the ASUCD Court got mentioned as something they intend to improve by one of the major parties during the senate candidate forum, and I think at least one of the independants. It also got mentioned by one of the party presidential candidates and the independant presidential candidate during the presidential debate. And finally, support for the Court was cited as a significant reason for the Cal Aggie's executive office endorsement.
Considering cases went completely unheard a year ago and I've never heard the court mentioned during campaigns in any previous years, I'd like to feel like my court administration has been distinctly successful in raising public concern for the government's treatment of the court. The attempts to remove me helped as well I believe. (=
And now I'm going to see The Locust and Dillinger Escape Plan in the Coffee House.

Oh how I wish I had a digital camera, or at least a scanner. Then I could post pictures less than three years old.
