ONE YEAR!!!
Jan. 20th, 2004 11:56 pmONE YEAR OF LIVEJOURNALISM
Exactly one year ago today I started this livejournal. In that time I have had two jobs, gotten jumped and left unconscious, and had a huge number of other adventures. 332 Journal entries have been posted in the last year, or .91 entries per day.
Several disputes have been caused by things contained in this lj, having real effects on people outside of the livejournal world. And then of course, there was the consideration of the journal by the ASUCD Senate, subsequent references to it in the aggie and everything connected to that huge drama.
One year ago today this livejournal started with three entries on a Monday, having had my bicycle, pocketwatch, gloves, and first pea coat stolen at a party the previous Saturday.
Today
Today I showed up the professor I am most terrified of at UC Davis, Professor Siverson. He asked what countries own territory in North America (discluding the caribbean), everyone else was baffled after Mexico, USA, and Canada were covered, I then offered Denmark. At first he dismissed the suggestion outright. But then when I continued with "doesn't denmark control greenland?" he reluctantly conceded. But that wasn't the country he had in mind.. any guesses?
Today we also had our formal Hearing for Case # 23. I'll write more about that in a subsequent post I think, because right now I have official Opinions and Court Orders to write. (=

This picture is neither a very good picture of me, nor was it taken by me like the others, but I felt it was significant today as it is of events described in this livejournal one year ago today.
