Cornish Pasties!!
Mar. 11th, 2003 08:04 am The highlight of Monday for me was definitely discovering they had cornish pasties in the CoHo. I used to looove those in Ireland but I've never seen them aanywheere else. They're like.. Picture a croissant filled with meat and gravey and stuff . Not shaped like a croissant, but that kind of bakery bread. Needless to say the CoHo ones were somewhere in the range of five to six percent the quality of the ones I'd had in Ireland but what can you expect.. just encountering them at all made my day.
Topic synopsii being due on Wednesday morning (at sunrise, 7:23am, guess who set the due date) I of course finally started researching my topic, Anti-Materiel Biological Weapons (Weapons which deteriorate asphalt, petroleum, plastics etc but not people) on Monday. First thing I do is type the topic into Google and lo and behold up comes the Berkeley HS Conference DISC Anti-Materiel Weapons Synopsis (DISC = Disarmament and International Security Committee. Called by some infidels "DISEC," though where the E comes from no one can explain). Now why did they have the same topic that I am doing? Because the chair of THAT committee, Monica Dalton asks me one day "Kris, what topics should my committee have?"... So... this would have been a funny story if I hadn't needed to explain every third word. d=
Otherwise... yea I gotta get all the chairs to write their synopsii and I need to learn russian. blahage.
just thinking about cornish pasties is putting me in a good mood ::drool::
