Legio XIII is on the march
Nov. 19th, 2004 08:31 am In about half an hour the infamous Nishan Baumik should be around here to pick me up for an epic expedition down to Las Vegas for the AMWEST Model UN conference. There I shall remain until the evening of next Tuesday, the 23rd.
As such I more than likely will not have internet access for the next five days O=! Somehow I will survive, presumably. You may contact me via cellular telephonemachine, but you'll probably have to leave a messege.
This is my first time chairing a college MUN conference.
And Now for Something Completely Different
Because you know it would kill me to write a particularly short entry, I bring you now something completely different I've been meaning to work in to something.
On the drive down to OC with the beautious miss Kristy Heidenberger I decided to textmessege Mr Branislav Ciberij, AKA funradio's "Bruno," the Slovak exchange student that stayed with my family ten years ago or so.
In response to "whats kickin?":Not much. Going to Rome for MTV awards, then working in radio, and then Prague to meet D Copperfield, because I'm his translater for December show in Bratislava.
And he later said some other poignant things which I wish I could recall but didn't have room to save all the messeges in my phone, but it ended with, in response to me asking him when he was going to visit:I just got back from fashion show and as usually I'm drunk a bit! But Krisoslav the question is when you're coming to Bratislava! Hmm? Whats new in your life?
Incidently I was stumped for a response to that insightful question and have yet to respond. Maybe I'll do so during the drive down to LV?
