Livejournalists prepare yourselves, for I have been unleashed upon the world with a digital camera!! Yes, thats right, its been three years since I last scanned a photograph of mine but the photographic winter is finally over!

Today I took 63 photographs, completed three photo-essays, worked on part of another, and took several brilliant pictures which will change your life.
The camera is not mine however, but the family digital camera, but hopefully by the end of this summer I'll have one of my own and never again shall the photographic winter set in.

You see, my paternal grandfather has been a career photographer for Kodak, my dad collects cameras, my maternal grandfather builds lenses for NASA, my older brother even sometimes thinks he might be a decent photographer, photography runs in my veins.

Also to tide you over until I get the pictures posted, we've got some polls for you, but to save time we've brilliantly combined them in a way which we've determined will in no way bias the results, and so we give you a single highly objective poll of ultimate truthfulness:

[Poll #313742]
If you selected the first option, arrangements can be made at [livejournal.com profile] shid and should be made as soon as possible.

Today, as previously mentioned, I spent much of the day marauding Mission Viejo with a digital camera.

My day started out at the Coffee Bean at the Laguna Hills Mall, where Krispy, Shalane, and Shalane's boyfriend Pete work. I got an application myself while I was there.

Then I proceeded to maraud about and take photographs. Eventually while I was behind Diedrichs taking some pictures a girl came up to me and asked if I knew where Matt Christie was. Matt, of course, is in jail. "Oh, I thought he was ignoring me." Turns out her name is Caylin, and SHE too has an lj ([livejournal.com profile] silentcelluloid).

After I had finished marauding and eatin some hamburger for dinner I hung out with Shalane at her new place in Santa Ana (north of here an estimated 26 minutes according to mapquest). A dozen people live there, its crazy. A bunch of us watched Old School and then I returned home because my pictures were calling to me to be posted.

Just two picture that relate to this )

As you may or may not recall, the other day I was forced to go the beach. It turns out there WERE in fact pictures taken at the beach. Not by me and not of awesome things like power stations 200 ft nuclear d-cups or the giant honey-stick, but pictures that can be used to illustrate my loathing of the beach:

(2) 2:00pm - Mother and I
(3) 3:00pm - I've been reduced to weeping bitter tears. Bitter tears of sadness.1

Today, in addition to keeping up with my quota of 2.67 lj entries I've begun a more serious stage of looking for employment. I've got an app for The Coffee Bean as previously noted, and also for a company that provides lifeguards to a lot of local pools. There are apparently a lot of former and disillusioned Wild Rivers employees with the former. Also I think I'll apply at Diedrichs and Ritz Camera. Also, mother says they need to hire someone to do inventory at The Yarn Lady; so far I'm the only member of this family not to have recieved a pay check from there. Counting yarn: totally punk rock.

Also it looks likely that the infamous Pavel Ivanov, better known as [livejournal.com profile] pavelthegeek may live with me next year; a new era of awesomeness is about to begin2!!

1Actually I completely made up the times there. Those pictures aren't actually even in order.
2How many new eras have I heralded lately?
