I thought I'd do something the lovely boxsofrain did a bit ago, and declare a Friendzy (Friending frenzy!). Actually I'm not sure she intended for it to work out quite like this but it did: (1) answer the following questions in a comment; (2) As Boxes says, "Also to make this more fun, feel free to read other peoples comments and reply to them with something nice about them. ... Make friends, add each other, mingle, just please be nice." (3) extra points if you mention the Friendzy in your own LJ and send people over to the party! (=

Favorite LJ Community: I honestly don't have one. I read about 6 every day
Oddest Pet You Might Like To Have (but don't): can't think of one off hand
Favorite Historical Event: I am a complete history nerd, so asking me to choose one is difficult. If pressed, I would have to pick the first atomic bomb blast, 1945, at the Alamogordo Bombing and Gunnery Range located 230 miles south of Los Alamos. It changed forever the world as we knew it.

Date: 2008-12-07 01:31 pm (UTC)In terms of war, I suppose nuclear bombs are somewhat of a deterrent. In the end, though, they probably will be responsible for untold devastation. And I don't even want to tip toe around the idea of chemical warfare . . . shudder
Hey, can we change the subject and talk about puppies or something? Pretty please?
