   At work today I've been looking for a local Earth Day Festival for the Orange County Beekeepers Assn to set up a booth. So I've been googling city names plus "Earth Day." What comes up for Mission Viejo, my own city, as the first result?

...

   Apparently, after Earth Day last year, the city dumped all their "Be a Green Machine" signs, and other Earth Day paraphernalia, in city greenspace!!

   Oh Mission Viejo.

I've always been especially amazed by bad stuff that happens in MV. After all, it's a new, planned community. What could possibly go wrong? Well here's proof that our city leaders are as idiotic as any!

The Mission Viejo Dispatch (who knew there was a publication of some kind out here?) also had more than one story on the front page about smoe MV councilman named MacLean or something who seemed to be the target for much derision?
