Misguided Titles, Misguided Columnists
Jan. 21st, 2005 09:59 am I love how the title the California Aggie assigned to my letter to the editor contradicts the actual purpose of the letter. They titled it "Watson misguided by communist shirt," whereas the whole point of the letter was that it was an Aeroflot Airlines shirt and NOT a "communist shirt" as Watson had misconcieved it. I had even recommended the title of "Watson Whitewashes Racism," in my opinion a much better title that combines alliteration and Watson's own phrase to concisely summarize the fundamental error in comparing Aeroflot Airlines and Heinrich Himmler -- a grievious violation of Godwin's Law I might add.
